FAQs

1. What exactly is wellness coaching? How is it different from therapy?

Wellness coaching is forward-focused support that helps you gain clarity, set boundaries, and build emotional habits that align with the life you want to live.
Unlike therapy, which often focuses on diagnosis or healing trauma, coaching is action-oriented and rooted in personal development. As a former therapist, I bring emotional depth—but we won’t dive into trauma processing or clinical treatment here.

2. Who is this coaching for?

I work best with emotionally aware cycle-breakers—people who’ve done some healing work and are now ready to unlearn old patterns, stop shrinking for others, and reclaim their own clarity and confidence. If you’re a recovering people-pleaser, boundary builder, or perfectionist in progress—you’ll feel right at home here.

3. What can I expect in a coaching session?

Every session is 50 minutes and fully customized. We’ll explore what’s showing up for you emotionally and practically, and co-create a path forward based on your goals. You can expect honest reflection, questions that dig beneath the surface, and support that feels both soft and direct.

4. What is “WhatsApp” and how does it work in the coaching packages?

WhatsApp is a free voice + text messaging app that lets us stay connected between sessions. Depending on your package, you’ll get access to me via WhatsApp Monday–Friday for check-ins, emotional processing, and support. I reply within 24 business hours.

5. How do I know if I’m ready for coaching?

You’re likely ready if:

  • You’re tired of the emotional tug-of-war between growth and guilt

  • You want accountability for living your truth

  • You’ve done some work (therapy, journaling, etc.) but still feel stuck in certain patterns

  • You’re ready to stop performing and start choosing yourself—daily

If you’re not sure, you can always book a single session to explore.

6. Do you offer payment plans or sliding scale options?

At this time, I don’t offer sliding scale. I do offer monthly payment plans for certain packages. If you have a question about accessibility, feel free to reach out.

7. Is this the same as therapy? Can I do both?

Coaching is not a substitute for therapy. That said, many of my clients work with both a therapist and coach. If you’re in active crisis or dealing with untreated trauma, I recommend working with a licensed therapist first (I’m happy to refer). Coaching works best when you’re in a place to build, not just survive.

8. How do I get started?

Simple! Head to the “Services” page and choose either a single session or the package that fits you best. If you're unsure, you can start with a single session and upgrade later.

Things to Remember:

-Sessions are held via secure video platform (Zoom.)

-Payments are due upfront.

-24-hour cancellation policy.

-Coaching is not therapy.
